Brief

Brains wanted to create an energetic and confident new brand identity and online presence that would help solidify their position as a leader in hospitality.

Outcome

We delivered an ambitious new digital identity and website to help engage new audiences, and reframe Brains as a modern Welsh brand.

40% increase in pages per visit
21% increase in visit duration
17% decrease in bounce rate

Creating a balance between Brains' heritage whilst connecting with new audiences was at the heart of the project. With its long-standing history, we looked at the past to inspire the future and created a bold brand that doesn’t hide from tradition.

The Brains logo is instantly recognisable, but was too complex for digital use, especially at small sizes. We refined the logo and created a stripped-back, screen-friendly version to ensure it was always clear no matter where it's applied.

Powered by Craft CMS, we built a website with numerous bespoke plugins and integrations to handle hundreds of individual pub pages, pub location and stockist searches, menu systems and booking services.
